MTVIBES: May we know your name?
I’m Jessy Chidozie Duru, aka Alphabet
MTVIBES MEDIA: Your song is trending on the whole social media and we want to know how you feel.
MTVIBES: Who are you in the music industry?
I’m a composer, vocalist, instrumentalist and music instructor with BA in Music
MTVIBES: When did you start doing music?
I started music early in my junior secondary. I also sang in the children/adult choir in the Anglican Church before i migrated to the university to study music. I was a member or COOU choir, Anambra choir, etc during university days. I have also release couple of singles from 2011 which includes Ilaga, Ikenga, Blessings, Boomber, Cinderella, and this year 2020 in this month of June I’m dropping a beautiful dedication song for my daughter titled “Oma”
MTVIBES:Which of your tracks is the most challenging?
“ Cinderella” was a vibe and my fans’ appreciation to that track has encouraged me to do greater things. The production was a bit challenging due to time. I was just called up by my very good friend and colleague (Bethelez) to his studio to meet an old school friend of ours (Keke), who’s been a wonderful producer from school. We met and had little time to put something together. I was supposed to leave the next morning so i had all night to do make a good line.
